We’re committed to fair shopping for customers and vendors. This policy is designed to be clear, balanced, and in line with the Consumer Protection Act, Jamaica.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Returns are accepted within 7 calendar days from the delivery date.
- Items must be in the same condition received — unused, unwashed, with all tags, labels, and original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
- Returns requested after 7 days will not be accepted under any circumstance.
2. Refunds
- Full refunds are available within 48 hours from delivery only if the product is still in the carrier’s possession and not yet delivered to the customer.
- After 48 hours, refunds are no longer available — only exchange or store credit applies.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.
- Refund approval is subject to product inspection. Items returned damaged, incomplete, or altered will be rejected with no refund issued.
3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
No returns, refunds, or exchanges on:
- Perishable goods (e.g., fresh food, flowers)
- Intimate apparel, swimwear, or hygiene-sensitive products
- Digital goods, downloadable content, or gift cards
- Items sold as “final sale” or “non-returnable” at checkout
- Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling by the customer
4. Return Costs & Process
- If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, PockettPinch covers the return delivery cost.
- If the return is due to change of mind, wrong size, or incorrect order by the customer, the customer pays the return delivery cost.
- Returns must be sent only through approved delivery partners. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
5. Exchange & Store Credit Rules
- Store credit must be used within 90 days of issue.
- Exchanges are processed only for the same product type or value.
- Price differences must be paid before an exchange is confirmed.
6. Abuse Prevention
- Repeated returns of the same product may be flagged and denied.
- Products suspected of being used, altered, or swapped with non-original parts will be rejected.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in excessive or fraudulent return activity.
Vendor Protection Addendum
This section applies to all vendors selling on PockettPinch and is designed to prevent financial loss from return/refund misuse.
Vendor Responsibility for Product Quality
- Vendors must ensure items match their listing description and meet advertised quality standards.
- If a return is due to vendor error (wrong item, defective product, incorrect description), the vendor covers the refund amount.
Non-Vendor Fault Returns
- If the return is due to buyer’s change of mind, wrong size ordered, or refusal to collect, PockettPinch will deduct the return delivery cost from the buyer’s refund, and the vendor will still receive payment for the original sale minus commission.
Dispute Resolution
- Vendors have 48 hours from the return request notification to provide evidence that the item was delivered as described.
- If no response is provided, PockettPinch will proceed with the refund based on inspection results.
Fraud & Abuse Protection
- Vendors found sending used, damaged, counterfeit, or incorrect products may face immediate account suspension and withheld payouts.
- Vendors are protected from refund requests where returned items have been swapped, used, or tampered with — provided proof is supplied.
Final Decision Authority
- PockettPinch reserves the right to make the final decision on all disputes, ensuring fairness to both customers and vendors.
7. Your Rights
Nothing in this policy affects rights granted under the Consumer Protection Act, Jamaica.
